Just as John had promised, after answering questions at home about where he was going, he dressed a little nicely. They were only going out for giant burritos after all but it sure didn't hurt to try and impress. He showed up and looked up at the house before slipping out and walking up to the door. Surprised when Jack opened the door.

Jack spoke with him a bit. Trying to find out about this guy that was coming for his daughter. Jack called for Kim, all while still eying John up. John for his part didn't waver under that stare. He stood calm and smiling while waiting for Kim.

She smiled at that as they headed out. "So, what do you do when you're not being interrogated by my father." she teased.

"Take some classes, try to make something of myself." He chuckled and glanced at her. "Take beautiful women out for burritos."

"Same here, along with avoiding becoming an adult for as long as possible." She glanced over at him, a bit of a smirk on her face, Kim in a teasing mood. "So, how many dates do you take out for giant burritos?"

"See you are special. Most girls want the flashy fancy stuff." He looked over at her. "That I leave for when I have more time for planning. I have to give you something to look forward to."

"I don't need the flashy, fancy stuff. I'd rather just have fun." She'd looked up at him before she spoke, making sure he was serious. "You're different. I like that. You don't need to show off to make an impression."

"Not so much an issue of showing off. Not for me anyway. More wanting to treat a girl special every now and then." He smiled at her. "I am different, been called too childish before. I just like to joke around and have fun."

"We all need a little fun in our life. The last couple of years have been good but the year or so before that, I was a handful for dad and Sam." Which was kinda funny because she didn't look like the trouble type. "This giant burrito dinner should be fun. Just how giant are they?"

"You'll see." He grinned, oh she'd like this. And he knew if Kim liked it she'd tell Sam.

She really had no idea how big they were or just how close they were to the 7lb burrito. She just smirked and glanced over at him. "I can't wait. Did you bring the Beano?" she teased.

He smirked and grabbed a brown bag and handed it to her. He just to be a pain in the ass went and bought Beano, Prilosec, and the Tums and Rolaids.

"Oh my god!" The tone of her voice was higher as she said that once she looked into the bag. "I can't believe you bought this stuff." She chuckled and looked over each item. "Now I can't wait to see this burrito. Are you sure it's not bigger than me?"

"Nah it's no seven pounder." He smirked but she'd see it wasn't too far off. He pulled up into El Tepeyac and parked.

Honestly, she didn't even think it would be half the size of the seven pounder, just thinking it was bigger than a normal size burrito. "Whatever size it is, I'm starving and can't wait to try it."

"You might regret saying that." He winked and walked in with her. As they sat down a tray was being taken to another table with the Manuel Special. They had their smaller burritos too, but the fun was ordering one of those.

"I don't back down that easily." she teased, tugging her shirt down as they walked inside. She watched as a huge burrito was carried by them and she pointed at the tray. "Is that what we're getting? It's huge."

"Think you could eat a whole one?" He smirked at her and winked. "You do you get a t-shirt."

"Do you think you could?" she shot back,a grin on her face before she glanced over at the burrito on another table. "I don't know. That's a lot of burrito."

"It'd be fun to try." He smirked at her and leaned back.

"If I pig out on our first date, you might never ask me out again." Though attempting to eat that big burrito might just be fun.

"Trust me, I plan to ask you out again." John smiled over at her gently.

"I would like that." she smiled before glancing over at that burrito once more. "Do you really want to try that challenge? You did come prepared for it."

"Let's live dangerously. Let's try and tackle that bad boy." He grinned across the table at her.

That grin was already getting to her. How could she tell him no? "Okay, let's do it but I want a picture of it first so Sam can see just how big it is."

He ordered two of the Manuel specials, if anything they'd have something to take come. He grinned again. "Think you can do it?"

"I don't know. That's a lot of burrito." She took a small sip of her drink the waitress had just brought to them, not wanting to fill up on anything. "But I sure as hell am going to try."
