Just as John had promised, after answering questions at home about where he was going, he dressed a little nicely. They were only going out for giant burritos after all but it sure didn't hurt to try and impress. He showed up and looked up at the house before slipping out and walking up to the door. Surprised when Jack opened the door.

Jack spoke with him a bit. Trying to find out about this guy that was coming for his daughter. Jack called for Kim, all while still eying John up. John for his part didn't waver under that stare. He stood calm and smiling while waiting for Kim.

"You know, if I use pompoms, I should probably be wearing a cheerleader outfit, too." She smirked, flirting with him was fun.

"Maybe just in private sometime." John smirked at her, flirting right back.

"Maybe..." She enjoyed keeping him guessing and as soon as that word left her lips, she took a drink of her pop, not letting on if she was teasing or not.

That's okay he has a dirty mind, and a really good imagination. That visual is now firmly seeded into his mind. He took another drink before he finally started eating and actually managed to finish the whole burrito.

She wouldn't have minded if she knew he kept that visual but she'd be glad her dad couldn't read minds. She finally gave up on her burrito after eating almost 3/4 of it. She was stuffed and now glad he'd stocked up on all that medicine. When he took the last bite, she gasped and bounced around in her seat as she quietly clapped. "You did it! You at the whole thing."

"I'm impressed you ate most of it." John grinned at her and posed for his picture, wit her. He took the t-shirt he won and smiled over at her.

"This was the most fun I've ever had on a date." she admitted, watching with a smile as he got his t-shirt. "Maybe one day I'll be able to finish that burrito."

"Always up for another go." He draped the t-shirt around her shoulders smiling. "Something to remember me by."

She smiled when he gave her the shirt. "Thank you, but...you don't want to keep it?"

He smiled softly and pat his stomach. "I have all the memory I need here."

"I'm gonna have to take Diesel for a run through the park to work this meal off..." She chuckled and draped the shirt over her arm. "So worth it though."

"It was very worth it." He gets a to-go container for the rest of hers and smiles.

She did manage one more small drink of her pop, certain she'd never eat again. "How are you feeling?"

"Surprisingly, I don't feel like I'm about to explode, but not well enough to go on any rides." He chuckled gently as they headed out.

"Oh no, no rides except for the car." She rubbed her tummy as they headed out but she did enjoy trying that challenge with him.

"What would you like to do now? Or are you ready to go home?" He went and unlocked the car for her.

"I was hoping the date wasn't over yet." she told him softly with a warm smile as she slid into the passenger seat. "Maybe we could walk off some of this full feeling."

"I was hoping you'd say that." He smiled gently thinking. "We could walk along the beach."

"Yeah, the beach sounds nice." She hadn't been there for a while, mostly just going between home and campus.

He drove them to a nice section of the beach, and got out waiting for her. He was glad she wasn't wanting the night to end because neither was he.

Her stomach felt like a big, hard lump on the ride to the beach and once she got out, she almost thought she was gonna be sick but instead she burped, as quietly as she could, laughing softly. "God, I'm sorry but that felt so good."

He laughed gently and let out his own burp, patting his stomach. He grinned at her then taking her hand. "No need to be sorry."

She chuckled softly at the burp and happily took his hand as they headed toward the beach. "Before the night is over, we might be glad you bought all that stuff you did."

"I always like to be prepared." He grinned and drew her close to him.

She was glad it was a warm night since half of her middle was exposed thanks to the shirt she was wearing. Still, she smiled up at him when he pulled her close and she snuggled up against him. "You must have been a boy scout when you were younger."
