Just as John had promised, after answering questions at home about where he was going, he dressed a little nicely. They were only going out for giant burritos after all but it sure didn't hurt to try and impress. He showed up and looked up at the house before slipping out and walking up to the door. Surprised when Jack opened the door.

Jack spoke with him a bit. Trying to find out about this guy that was coming for his daughter. Jack called for Kim, all while still eying John up. John for his part didn't waver under that stare. He stood calm and smiling while waiting for Kim.

She waited until he had his fork in her hand and glanced down at the monster sized burrito and then over at him. "Ready, set, dig in." Which she did. "Oh god, that's good."

"This is damn good." He ate happily, smiling over at her as she ate. "What did Sam say?"

While she wasn't full yet, she knew she'd never be able to finish all of that burrito but it was one of the best she'd ever have. She picked up her phone and read Sam's text with a soft chuckle. "She says to bring her one back." Of course Sam was teasing but she did want to know where that place was.

"I can pick her one up." John smiled over at her gently. He wasn't sure he could finish it himself, but he'd go down trying.

"She's just teasing. I told her I'd probably have at least half of one she could have." She knew Sam would love it and Kim was gonna make sure if Sam ever got pregnant again, she was going to get her to do that challenge. "Dad will bring her here. He likes surprising her."

"Your dad sounds like a good dad." He smiled over at her.

She stopped a moment and smiled at his words, nodding her head. "He is. He's a great dad. He's changed a lot since he met Sam and I have a little brother and sister. Do you have any brothers or sisters?"

"Just my older sister Lucy." He smiled and leaned back relaxing.

"Does she live in LA?" she asked after taking a bite of her food. It'd be nice to get to know some of his family if they kept seeing each other.

"She comes to visit, so does my dad and my stepmother. They all live back easy, but are here visiting now." He looked over at her, he'd take her to meet his crazy family.

"Where at back east? Sam is from New York City." She doubted that his family could be any crazier than hers. "Don't tell me you live there too but are just going to school here."

"That's where they live. Dad lived out here for awhile." He looked at her and chuckled. "Would you be disappointed if I was? I don't know, even if I was, I don't think I'd be able to leave now."

"If you did then that means you'd go back home for holidays and breaks. So yeah, I'd be disappointed." she admitted, forgetting for a second that his mom lived in LA. "You'd stay here for me?" She looked surprised but happy.

"Yeah I would. You meet an amazing girl, you stick around. It's just common sense." He ate a bit more of his burrito.

"Well, I'm glad you want to stay even if you weren't leaving." She smiled and then went back to eating her burrito, still keeping up with him so far.

"I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes too much to leave." John smiled over at her as he reached the half way mark.

"So am I and to think when I got up this morning I thought it'd be just another boring day." This was one time she was glad she was wrong.

"Same here, but I am glad we bumped into each other." He smiled gently and relaxed.

"Literally." she chuckled, still eating on her burrito but slowing down a bit. "I'm glad I sometimes have a bad habit of walking and reading."

"So am I." He chuckled amused, smiling as he kept eating. He might very well finish.

Surprisingly, she'd eaten half of her burrito but she was full, beyond full. She looked at John's plate and then up at him. "Are you full yet? You could actually do this."
